UFI Elects V. Anbu as President for 2020 - 2021

The UFI Board of Directors has formally elected V. Anbu, Director General & CEO of Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) and Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) as its President for 2020 - 2021. The decision was made at the board meeting, which marked the start of the annual UFI European Conference in Birmingham (UK).

Abhijit Mukherjee wins IEIA Lifetime Achievement Award

IMTMA’s Principal Advisor Abhijit Mukherjee was conferred with the IEIA Lifetime Achievement Award 2019 during the inaugural session of the 9th IEIA Open Seminar 2019 held at India Expo Centre & Mart, Delhi NCR, India on 14 June 2019. The executive committee of IEIA (Indian Exhibition Industry Association) unanimously selected Mr. Mukherjee as the most worthy recipient for the prestigious award in recognition of his hard work, dedication and immense contribution to the development of the exhibition industry in India.

IMTEX wins Leading Trade Show Award

IMTMA’s flagship IMTEX exhibition held every year in BIEC was conferred with an award at the 9th IEIA Open Seminar 2019 held at India Expo Centre & Mart, Delhi NCR, India on 14 June 2019. IEIA decided to recognize Indian Machine Tool Exhibition ‘IMTEX’ for achieving an outstanding position as the leading trade show and for playing a key role in nation building.

Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA) organized the 9th IEIA Open Seminar at India Expo Centre & Mart, Delhi NCR, India from 13th to 15th June 2019.

PackPlus South 2019

South India’s premier show on packaging, converting and supply chain organized by Print Pack was held at BIEC from 10th to 13th April 2019. PrintFair 2019 - the commercial printing, package converting and digital sign show was organized concurrently.

Drink Technology India 2019

Drink Technology India South (DTI-South) was organized by Messe Muenchen India for the first time in Bengaluru at BIEC from 10th to 12th April 2019, has established a strong position on the South Indian market.

OnePlus Launch 2019

The first ever launch of OnePlus at BIEC in Bengaluru on 14th May 2019 was the biggest launch ever said Carl Pei, founder of OnePlus. Carl Pei was received with thundering applause. Addressing the ecstatic crowd on the occasion he said that Bengaluru was where the OnePlus story began.

Herbalife Extravaganza 2019

Herbalife Extravaganza organized by Herbalife at BIEC from 17th to 19th May 2019 was a show stopper. The distributor incentive event offered one-to-one coaching and support for Herbalife independent distributors which they could provide to their customers in turn.

Auto Technika 2019

Auto Technika 2019, an international exhibition on vehicles, auto components, spare parts, technology and allied industry was held at BIEC from 14th to 16th June 2019. The show conceptualized by Media Day Marketing was a part of a series of annual exhibitions which are also held in the cities of Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Tricentis User Conference 2019

The largest software testing conference organized by Tricentis was held at BIEC from 12th to 14th June 2019 at BIEC’s Conference Centre. The objective behind organizing this conference was to foster stronger and closer ties between software testers across the nation and enrich their understanding of software testing industry trends and best practices.
