 ACETECH is a series of Asia's largest architecture, construction and engineering exhibitions, recognized as India's premier portfolio of events for bringing major players from the country's building and interiors industry. Originating in Mumbai in 2006, the show now runs in Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad. The ACETECH series of events organized by Economic Times attract architects and planners, interior designers, building contractors, engineers, hardware specialists, etc. ACETECH 2016 will be held at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre from 21 to 23 October 2016

The 6th edition of India Association Congress organized by CIM Global was held at Hotel Pride Plaza, Aerocity in New Delhi on 26 and 27 August 2016. BIEC sponsored the dinner for the event.
The 5th edition of Bangalore Space Expo organized by Indian Space Research Organization, Antrix Corporation and Confederation of Indian Industry was held at BIEC in Bengaluru from 1 to 3 September 2016. The Space Expo at BIEC was an apt platform for space agencies, specialists, entrepreneurs and space industry heavyweights to display their visions to the decision makers.
Three concurrent events Gen Next Innovative Products Expo (GIPX), i2 Box and Start-up Square were organized by Indian Innovators Association and V Group at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre from 9 to 11 September 2016 as part of Innovate in India (IIIF 2016) fair. Google was the innovation partner and Fraunhofer was the knowledge partner.
In order to attract investment and technology, FIMI (Federation of Indian Mineral Industries) organized a 3 days convention on Mining, Exploration Convention & Trade Show from 15 to 17 September 2016 at BIEC. The event was sponsored by the Ministry of Mines, Government of India.

The most coveted event for education and training - the 8th edition of Didac India event was held from 28 to 30 September 2016 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bengaluru. The International Education & Skills Summit (TIESS 2016) was held concurrently. India Didactics Association, Worlddidac Association-Switzerland, British Education Suppliers Association (BESA)-UK and DIDACTA-Germany partnered to organize this event.
Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) is celebrated on 9th January every year to mark the contribution of Overseas Indian community in the development of India. January 9 was chosen as the day to celebrate this occasion since it was on this day in 1915 that Mahatma Gandhi, the greatest Pravasi, returned to India from South Africa, led India's freedom struggle and changed the lives of Indians forever. Pravasi Divas 2017 will also see awards being given to 30 distinguished NRIs who have contributed to the growth of the country. 
With a view to address the evolving trends in machining technologies, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) is organizing the "International Seminar on Machining Technologies" on 25 January 2017, in conjunction with IMTEX2017 exhibition, in Bangalore. The theme of this international seminar is "Powering Manufacturing Growth and Competitiveness".
IMTEX 2017 - the 18th Indian metal cutting machine tool exhibition with international participation will be held at BIEC from 26 January to 1 February 2017. IMTEX series is the largest exhibition of metal-cutting machine tools and manufacturing solutions in South and South East Asia. BIEC will also host a number of parallel events during IMTEX such as an 
BIEC (Bangalore International Exhibition Centre), India's premier exhibition-cum-conference facility is turning 10 years old. BIEC will celebrate this at IMTEX 2017 scheduled to be held in its premises from 26 January to 1 February 2017.
