Strategic Electronics Summit is a B2B event for defence and aerospace sectors. The 8th edition of the summit
organized by ELCINA was held at BIEC from 6 - 7 July 2017.
The event comprised of two day conferences on
opportunities in strategic electronics, defence offset, procurement and production policies, upcoming
requirements from defence forces, DRDO and Make Indian contracts. The exhibition showcased the strategic
electronics sector.

| Inner Engineering - Technologies for Wellbeing |

BIEC hosted a two day programme on inner engineering for well-being at its campus from 15 - 16
July 2017 in Bengaluru. Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev conducted the programme. Sadguru gave his thoughts
and talked about life as a process. He took the participants through the through the Shambhavi
Maha Mudra Kriya.
He explained the importance of visiting Kailasha Manasa Sarovar once at least
in a life time. A video about the “Rally for Rivers”, a campaign initiated by Sadguru to save the
depleting rivers in India was shown. Sadguru talked about the importance of rivers and the implications
of depleting rivers in the country and how each individual can contribute to save the rivers.

The 9th edition of AgriTech (AgriTech 2017), India’s leading agriculture machinery
exhibition was held at BIEC from 28 - 30 August 2017. DairyTech India 2017 was held concurrently.
The show was organized by Media Today Group.
The exhibition proved to be one of the most significant
platform of agriculture industry, where domestic and international companies and experts from the sector
could review for a better projection of different agriculture concepts with technologies, as well as to
make useful business contacts and joint venture opportunities.

| Mining Exploration & Convention Trade Show |

|
|
|
Federation of Indian Mineral Industries in order to attract investment and technology organized a three days
convention on mining, exploration and convention from 14 - 16 September 2017 at BIEC with the support of PDAC.
The event provided a unique opportunity for various stakeholders involved in the mining value chain- policy
makers, exploration agencies, mining companies, regulatory agencies, technologists, economists, investors,
etc. to have intense deliberations and discussions. Ministry of Mines, Govt. of India sponsored the event.

Google organized a cloud summit at BIEC from 26 to 28 September 2017. The event
enabled participants to choose from dedicated visionary, strategic, technical,
and experiential breakout sessions about all things on cloud. The summit enabled
participants to gain hands-on experience and see Google Cloud technology in
action at the Experience Zone. The summit covered topics such as working in a
multi-cloud world, where should I run my code, using Apigee Edge to create and
publish APIs that developers love, innovating in the open cloud, Google cloud
storage options, and so on.

| Grade Separator to Ease Traffic near BIEC |

|
|
|
|
|
Construction of grade separator to smoothen the flow of traffic on the Bengaluru-Nelamangala highway has
begun. Once the construction is completed vehicles coming in to BIEC can take a U-turn. Since BIEC hosts
a number of high-profile events the grade separator will give motorists a hassle free entry into BIEC campus.
