India Energy Week 2023

It was a historic occasion for Bangalore International
Exhibition Centre (BIEC) as Shri Narendra Modi, the Hon�ble Prime Minister of
India inaugurated the India Energy Week on 6th February 2023. Shri
Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas also graced
the event with his presence. India Energy Week 2023 was the first
significant exhibition following India occupying the presidency of G 20 in
December 2022.
The exhibition was organized by dmg events under the
patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of
India, and supported by the FIPI, (Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry).
PM Modi launched uniforms under the Unbottled initiative of Indian Oil, the
twin solar cooktop that would revolutionize Indian households in the next few
years, the E20 fuel, and flagged off the Green Mobility rally.
India Energy Week 2023
attracted 33,000 energy professionals, 650+ companies, representatives from 127

Events in Pipeline
IIJS Tritiya, the third exhibition under the India
International Jewellery Show by the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion
Council (GJEPC) will make its debut at BIEC from 17th to 20th
March 2023, a month prior to Akshaya Tritiya, the auspicious gold jewellery
buying festival. South India has been a largely under-explored market for B2B
jewellery manufacturers and the forthcoming show will enable exhibitors to
tap the full potential of the South Indian market. This is the second
exhibition which would be hosted by BIEC following the highly successful IIJS
Premiere in 2021.
D-arc BUILD, a distinctive showcase of Design,
Architecture, Building, and Construction related technologies would happen at
BIEC for the first time. Organized by Zion Exhibitions India, the show would
run from 12th to 14th May 2023 at BIEC, Bengaluru. The
exhibition would further innovation in the construction and infrastructure
sector.

AeroDef India Manufacturing 2022
AeroDef India Manufacturing, organized by Infinity
Expo, was held in BIEC from 9th to 11th November 2022. This
was the third edition of the event. It attracted 65 exhibitors and visitors
from the private sector, manufacturing sector, public sector units,
international OEMs, ordnance factories, naval dockyards, research labs, and

PIA
Award Function
PIA MSME Excellence Awards organized by Peenya
Industries Association (PIA) on 9th December 2022 at BIEC witnessed
a record turnout of 1000+ visitors. Shri C.N. Ashwathnarayan, Hon�ble
Minister of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood, Government of
Karnataka and Shri S.T. Somashekar, Hon�ble Minister of State for
Co-operation of Karnataka, and other prominent personalities including Sri
Sri Dr. Nirmalananda Swamiji Adi Chunchanagiri Mutt and Madhusudan Sai
Sadguru Swamiji, Muddenahalli Ashram graced the event with their presence.

PackPlus South 2022
PackPlus, India�s biggest event for packaging,
converting and supply chain, organized by Reed Exhibitions, was held at BIEC
from 16th to 18th December 2022. The event which
featured 400+ exhibitors provided a business and networking platform for the
packaging, converting automation, processing, material handling, and supply

Seminar on Manufacturing Technologies
International Seminar on Manufacturing Technologies took
place at BIEC on 18 January 2023, a day before IMTEX 2023. Dr. Nandini
Chakraborty, Associate Director, Manufacturing Technology Centre, UK

IMTEX, Tooltech
& Digital Manufacturing 2023
IMTEX 2023, Tooltech 2023 & Digital Manufacturing 2023
held at BIEC from 19th to 25th January 2023 attracted
991 exhibitors from 23, and 96,000+ visitors from 84 countries. Orders worth ₹
2,200 - 2,800 crores and Enquiries to the tune of ₹ 31,000 crores were
reported. Business orders showed an increase of around 13% as compared to
IMTEX 2019. Enquiries showed an increase of 29 % as compared to IMTEX 2019. More Information

STONA 2023
The 15th international granites and stone fair
STONA 2023 was organized by the Federation of Indian Granite and Stone
Industry (FIGSI) from 15th to 18th February 2023 at BIEC, Bengaluru. The
exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Halappa Basappa Achar, the Minister of
Mines and Geology on 15th February 2023. Ishwinder Singh,
president, FIGSI and other dignitaries shared the dais with the minister. More Information

HBLF Show
HBLF Show, the leading B2B exhibition for hardware,
ceramic and sanitary ware, building materials, lighting, modular kitchen,
furniture, art and more was held from 3rd to 5th March
2023. The HBLF Show was an extremely effective platform to connect to the B2B

BIEC Metro Progress
Bangalore Metro is constructing a new metro station just
outside BIEC gates. Reach 3C connecting Manjunath Nagar to BIEC is over 80%
complete as per media reports. Once completed commuters to the BIEC venue can
avail of cost-effective, traffic-free and high-quality train services. Read More
